Christmas Programs

Our Christmas programs will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.  each evening.  Door #5 to the elementary will be open at 5:30 for seating.  The Christmas program schedule is as follows:

3rd Grade - Monday, December 12, at 6:00 p.m. in the KCES Gymnasium
2nd Grade - Tuesday, December 13, at 6:00 p.m. in the KCES Gymnasium
1st Grade - Wednesday, December 14, at 6:00 p.m. in the KCES Gymnasium
Kindergarten - Thursday, December 15, at 6:00 p.m. in the KCES Gymnasium

Welcome to the KCES website!

We hope you find our website useful. As you may have noticed already, it is continually a work in progress. We appreciate your patience as we construct and maintain a site in which our community may take pride.
 
If you have accessed our site in the past, we hope you will find our site to be more user-friendly and filled with the information you need.  Our goal is to get you, the internet user, to the information you need within three to four clicks.

Fridays

Every Friday students will be released 1/2 hour early.  Students will exit the building at 2:20, rather than 2:50.

The time gained from our early release will be used to provide parent/teacher conferences during the fall and spring. 
 

Tutoring

SES Tutoring forms have been mailed to qualifing students.  The forms are due by November 1, 2011.

Students who qualify for SES Tutoring Services must meet the following criteria per federal Title I Guidelines:
- Students who do not pass any section of the ISTEP+ test (grades 3 - 5) or Students are not performing well on grade level standardized assessments (K-2).
AND
- Students receive free or reduced lunch. 

If you feel your child meets these criteria, but you have yet to recieve any information, please contact Glenn Barnes, KCES Principal.

Last year, 2010-2011, KCES had 39 students in grades K - 5 participate in SES Tutoring Services.  KCES offered the service to 113 students in grades K - 5.
