Kindergarten Round-up for KCES took place on April 25, 2012 at KCES. We had a great turn out for the round-up. In fact, KCES enrolled more K students than we ever have at any other round-up.
If you have a little person that still need to enroll, please stop in or give us at 772-1633. We would be happy to help get them enrolled so they can come join us in August.
Award programs are as follows:
Monday, May 21, 2012 - 3rd Grade - 9:00 am / Kindergarten - 1:00 pm
Tuesday, May 22, 2012 - 4th Grade - 9:00 am / 1st Grade - 1:00 pm
Wednesday, May 23, 2012 - 5th Grade - 9:00 am / 2nd Grade - 1:00 pm
Doors open 20 minutes before the beginning of the program. Please park at door #5.

We hope you find our website useful. As you may have noticed already, it is continually a work in progress. We appreciate your patience as we construct and maintain a site in which our community may take pride.

Every Friday students will be released 1/2 hour early. Students will exit the building at 2:20, rather than 2:50.
The time gained from our early release will be used to provide parent/teacher conferences during the fall and spring.
SES Tutoring forms have been mailed to qualifing students. The forms are due by November 1, 2011.
Students who qualify for SES Tutoring Services must meet the following criteria per federal Title I Guidelines:
- Students who do not pass any section of the ISTEP+ test (grades 3 - 5) or Students are not performing well on grade level standardized assessments (K-2).
AND
- Students receive free or reduced lunch.
If you feel your child meets these criteria, but you have yet to recieve any information, please contact Glenn Barnes, KCES Principal.
Last year, 2010-2011, KCES had 39 students in grades K - 5 participate in SES Tutoring Services. KCES offered the service to 113 students in grades K - 5.
